Company Overview

Business Description:
Talisman Mining Limited (TLM) is a base metals and gold exploration company. The company´s focus is on the Bryah Basin Volcanogenic Massive Sulphides (VMS) copper-gold region with portfolio of projects covering a total area of 736 sqkm.

Strategy Analysis:
TLM is aggressively exploring and developing its portfolio of exploration projects in the Northern Murchison region of Western Australia. The central focus is to advance the Springfield Copper-Gold Project whilst progressing and adding both regional base metal and gold projects. TLM have also implemented a strategy of seeking out low cost quality exploration acquisition opportunities. Talisman Mining announced that it is set to embark on a targeted drilling program at its flagship Springfield copper-gold project in WA, which is located 4km from Sandfire Resource's DeGrussa copper-gold project. The drill program is scheduled to commence in the second half of March and has been designed to test 18 newly identified Tier-One copper-gold exploration targets. The program will comprise approximately 10,000m of combined diamond and RC drilling, with scope to extend this further dependent upon geological information obtained in the field and ongoing assay results.
