Business Description:
Geodynamics Limited (GDY) is a geothermal exploration and development company in the emerging field of Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS). The company has experience in drilling deep, high temperature, high pressure wells in granite formations. GDY holds geothermal exploration licences over highly prospective areas in SA, NSW, QLD and the Solomon Islands. The company‚Äôs main focus is on pioneering the development of EGS technology or ‚Äėhot rock‚Äô geothermal in the Cooper Basin, SA.

Strategy Analysis:
Geodynamics reported a net loss of $135.56m for the year ended 30 June 2011. Revenues from ordinary activities were $2.52bn, down 39% from last year. Basic and Diluted EPS was (43.01) cents compared to (5.08) cents last year. The net operating cash outflow was $6.87m compared to an outflow of $5.64m in the pcp. No dividend was declared.
