Business Description: Gujarat NRE Coking Coal Limited (GNM) is a mining company engaged in coal mining, coal preparation and export of coal. GNM owns and operates the NRE No.1 Colliery and NRE Wongawilli Colliery coking coal mines in the Southern Coalfields Region of New South Wales. GNM exports the majority of its ROM Coal product to its parent company, Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd, in India.
Strategy Analysis: GNM plans to continue production of metallurgical coke in India and Australia towards producing 4m tonnes in FY15.
Gujarat Nre Coking Coal reported NPAT of $1.56m for the half-year ended 30 September 2012. Revenue from ordinary activities were $120.68m, up 10% from last year. Basic and Diluted EPS were 0.14 cents compared to (0.8) cents last year. Net operating cash flow was $234,634 compared to $37.29m last year. No dividend was declared.
