Business Description:
Guildford Coal Limited (GUF) is an emerging coal producer with a portfolio of coal exploration tenement areas in Queensland, Australia and Mongolia.

Strategy Analysis:
GUF aims to explore and develop coal deposits. GUF is focussed on ultimately producing and selling a variety of coal products into export markets if successful in exploration. Guildford Coal reported positive cash flow of $3.11m for the quarter ended 31 December 2012. Operating cash flow for the period was $(5.14m). Payments for exploration and evaluation were $(4.81m). Investing cash flow was $(6.82m). Financing cash flow was $15.06m. Cash in hand at the end of the quarter was $13.15m.
