Emerald Oil & Gas NL (EMR) is an oil & gas exploration and production company that holds interests in exploration and production operations in the USA (Colorado, Wyoming, Kentucky and Texas) and offshore Western Australia. Emerald's core assets are its unconventional oil assets in the prolific Williston Basin, Bakken/Three Forks play located in North Dakota and its large acreage holding over the Niobrara Continuous Shale Oil accumulation in Green River Basin in Colorado and Wyoming.
