Business Description: Bandanna Energy Limited (BND) is a coal exploration and development company based in Australia. BND is targeting commencement of production at its underground thermal coal project, the Springsure Creek Coal Mine Project, in the first half of 2015.
Strategy Analysis: Bandanna Energy, is approaching the finalisation of the infrastructure requirements for its Golden Triangle and Dingo West developments to unlock the export potential of these assets. Overall, the company is aiming to fully focus its efforts into developing infrastructure so as to commercialise on its existing position, said to include but are not limited to 1,500 million tonnes of coal.
Bandanna Energy reported negative cash flow of $11.07m for the quarter ended 31 December 2012. Operating cash flow for the period was $(10.55m). Payments for exploration and evaluation were $(6.61m). Investing cash flow was $(516,000). Financing cash flow was nil. Cash in hand at the end of the quarter was $90m.
