Did you know parents, relatives and friends can make superannuation contributions on behalf of children who are under the age of 18. Superannuation contributions on behalf of a child can be made up to a limit of $3,000 per child per 3 year period. However, there is nothing to stop a person from opening child accounts with different superannuation funds and contributing the $3,000 limit per 3 year period, with each fund. Aspyre Capital Investments Limited has been incorporated for the purposes of establishing an LIC to invest in derivative trading strategies. Unlike many other similar types of LICs, the Manager will not be entitled to a bonus fee unless exceptional returns are achieved. No bonus fee is payable during the first 5 years and 6 months from quotation on the ASX.
