Objectives and Strategy
Fund Objective The objective of this option is to outperform the UBS Australian Composite Bond Index over the medium-term (before fees) by using an active investment strategy.
Fund Strategy This option provides access to a diversified portfolio of both domestic and international fixed interest securities. Macquarie's best-of-breed approach to manager selection gives Australian investors access to leading specialist fixed interest managers around the world. The option incorporates strategic allocations to Australian bonds, global sovereign bonds, investment grade and high yield corporate bonds, mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities and emerging markets debt.
