Incorporated in August 1999, our company (InvestSMART Financial Services Pty Ltd) has been built on only one founding principle - to provide Australian retail investors with low cost access to quality financial information and products.

The first website to be developed from this philosophy was www.floatnews.com.au (FloatNews). This groundbreaking website was created in response to investors who wanted to be fully informed about upcoming floats. The immense popularity of FloatNews' now famous email bulletin and website spurred us on to greater things, culminating in the website you see now, www.investsmart.com.au.

InvestSMART Financial Services Pty Ltd is wholly owned by Fairfax Digital Limited.

InvestSMART Financial Services Pty Ltd holds an Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)  issued Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL # 226435)  and is a member of the Financial Ombudsman Service (membership #10433), an external complaints resolution scheme.
